The following are a few typical turnkey projects:

Lexmark International - Boulder Colorado
A Toner Drum Transfer System for moving drums used in laser printers, from pallet on a washer conveyor. The drums were picked four at a time and transferred onto another conveyor with pallets for continued processing. This machine ran successfully for seven years until the entire process was updated.

Micron Communications - Boise Idaho
We desinged and built several machines and tools for them. Among them were: three card RF test and sorters; an inspection machine that checked cell battery thickness, voltage tests and remove and sort by type of failure; an automatic vacuum chamber with inline conveying, the purpose was to remove trapped air bubbles from the encapsulant deposited at the previou station prior to going into a curing oven.

Another turnkey project was a tool for automatic part feeding into a dual-head grinder.

We designed and built an in-line UV curing oven for speaker manufacturer.

Another machine took parts from two feeder bowls, one an encapsulated electronic device and the other a plastic housing. the devices were placed into pockets on a single file conveyor belt for proper spacing. The plastic housings were moved into a retaining die set. Then the devices were picked up, four a a time, and pressed into the housings.

Global Mektronics' office in Arizona is the primary the design engineering location. We do offer a variety of options to fullfill our customers needs. We work with our customer's in-house manufacturing and assembly units to build the machines. If the customer does not have in-house capacity we will work with machine shops of their choice or ours.

Additionally, we can offer our customers a turnkey option where we will be responsible for the entire project from original quote to finished installation. This option is available in the United States or in the Philippines and negotiated with the customer to facilitate the best option for the customer's needs. The installation can be at most any customer location.
